Lumirai Lightbox User Guide

Lightbox is the Windows display in your exam room: signage while it is locked, and the roomed patient’s imaging once a provider unlocks it.

Welcome to Lumirai Lightbox, the Windows room display for Medstrat Joints. While the screen is locked, Lightbox plays your clinic’s signage videos. When a provider unlocks it, the display shows the roomed patient’s imaging.

This guide is written for everyday clinical use. You don’t need technical knowledge to follow the daily steps. The sections meant for IT are marked, and those need the settings passcode.

Lightbox has no staff login. Providers unlock with an NFC card. Rooming and study selection happen in Lumirai Link or Lumirai Viewer — not on this display.

Platforms

Lightbox runs on Windows (x64) as a room kiosk.

Two companion apps handle the work Lightbox deliberately leaves out:

  • Lumirai Link — rooms patients, chooses the studies to display, and can lock or unlock this display remotely
  • Lumirai Viewer — the same rooming and study workflow from a workstation or an iPad
