What the display shows once a provider unlocks, and what each empty state means.
After a provider unlocks, Lightbox opens Medstrat Joints with the studies marked for display on the roomed patient.
Joints shows the displayed studies for this visit — the same ones staff selected in Lumirai Link or Lumirai Viewer. Lightbox doesn’t open a worklist or a search. You review what is already roomed to this display.
Use Joints as you would on any other workstation: scroll, window, and compare. A Viewer menu (•••) at the edge of the images offers Study list, Ink, and Refresh if you prefer that to the status bar.
The ring on the connection chip reads Viewer loading while Joints is busy, then Viewer ready.
If Joints has nothing to show, Lightbox covers the viewer with a short message:
| Message | Meaning | What to do |
|---|---|---|
| No patient roomed | This room has no current patient | Room a patient in Link or Viewer |
| No studies found | No imaging is available for this visit | Refresh from the studies panel, or check PACS in Link or Viewer |
| No studies selected | Studies exist, but none are marked for display | Show rows in the studies panel, or mark them in Link or Viewer |
| Room not found | Placement IDs don’t match a room | Ask IT to fix the Location ID and Room ID |
| Not a Lightbox room | The room isn’t set up as a Lightbox display | Ask IT to correct placement in Link |
The hints under each message read:
Tap Show studies on the status bar, or tap the patient chip, to open the studies panel. See Managing studies.
You can’t search PACS or room a different patient from Lightbox. Staff do that in Link or Viewer, and the display follows the room.
