About Lumirai

I started building the software that became Lumirai to improve an important part of orthopedic clinic workflow. We review X-rays and imaging with patients all day in clinic, and I knew there was an opportunity to make that experience simpler and more natural — imaging that’s ready when I walk into the room, easy to use, and supportive of the conversation rather than distracting from it.

I believed technology, when used correctly, should fade into the background. The goal was an imaging experience that felt as intuitive as the old lightbox, but with all the advantages of a modern digital PACS — designed to support the natural flow of an orthopedic clinic.
