What the portal does, and how it relates to Echo.

Lumirai Accounts lives at accounts.lumir.ai. It is a web page — there is nothing to install.

What the portal does

From the portal you can:

  • Create your practice's Lumirai account
  • Subscribe to Echo and choose how many Provider and Staff licenses you need
  • Add, change, and remove the people who get those licenses
  • Update payment details, download invoices, and cancel
  • See whether Lumirai's services and the Joints connection are healthy
  • Review a log of what has happened on your account

Three things that are easy to confuse

The word "account" means three different things across Lumirai. It is worth getting these straight before you start.

The portal login is a practice login, not a personal one. There is one set of credentials for the practice, held by whoever administers it. Everyone else in the practice never signs in here.

How a license reaches someone

There are no license keys or files to distribute. The chain is:

  1. You subscribe and buy, say, three Provider licenses.
  2. You add three email addresses on the Echo Accounts page — the same addresses those people use to log into Medstrat Joints.
  3. When one of them signs into Joints through Echo, Echo checks that email with Lumirai and unlocks the paid features.

If someone's Echo says Echo Free when it should say Echo Pro, the usual cause is that the email on the Echo Accounts page does not match the one they use in Joints. See Echo Accounts.

Before you begin

You will need:

  1. A work email address for the practice contact — this becomes the portal login and receives verification, billing, and security email
  2. A Practice ID you would like to use (see Creating your practice)
  3. A payment method when you are ready to subscribe — a card is required to start the 30-day free trial, though nothing is charged during it

First-time checklist

  1. Create your practice and sign in with the emailed code.
  2. Verify your email address — you cannot subscribe until you do.
  3. Subscribe to Echo and choose your Provider and Staff license counts.
  4. Add Echo accounts for the people who will use Echo.
  5. Optionally, set a password and turn on two-factor authentication.
