Provider and Staff plans, the free trial, and checkout.
Subscription is where you start, change, and end your Echo plan. It shows the same four Echo fields as the Status page, plus the buttons that act on them.
Your email address must be verified first. See Verifying your email.
Echo licenses are sold per person, in two tiers. You can buy any mix of the two.
| Echo Provider For clinicians | Echo Staff For clinical staff | |
|---|---|---|
| View Joints studies | Yes | Yes |
| Patient search | Yes | Yes |
| Unlimited open views | Yes | Yes |
| 90-day history of opened views | Yes | Yes |
| Tab Sync across devices | Yes | Yes |
| Rotary scroll control | Yes | — |
| Drawing controls | Yes | — |
| Own and share a sync folder | Yes | — |
The practical difference is the last row. A Provider owns a Tab Sync list and shares it with assistants; Staff join a list someone else owns. If a clinician needs to stage studies for their own assistants, they need Provider.
List prices are $20 per month or $200 per year for Provider, and $10 per month or $100 per year for Staff. The page shows current prices in your own currency, so treat what you see there as authoritative.
Anyone without a license can still use Echo in a limited form: "Without a subscription, Echo still includes opening viewers with 1 open view and patient search. Multiple open views, history, and tab sync require a license."
Buy a license for each person who needs one, including yourself if you use Echo. Licenses are not shared between people.
Every Echo subscription starts with a 30-day free trial. A payment method is required at checkout, but nothing is charged during the trial. Cancel before it ends and no payment is taken; do nothing and the subscription converts to paid when the trial finishes.
One restriction applies while the trial runs. You can change the number of licenses on a plan you already have, but you cannot add or drop a whole tier:
While your trial is running you can only change the number of licenses for a plan you already have. Adding or dropping a plan has to wait until the trial ends.
So if you started with Provider only and now want Staff licenses too, either wait for the trial to end or contact support.
| Status | What it means |
|---|---|
| None | No subscription yet |
| Trialing | Inside the 30-day trial. Licenses work |
| Active | Paid and current. Licenses work |
| Past Due | A payment failed. Update your payment method promptly |
| Paused | Temporarily suspended |
| Canceled | Ended. Choose Resubscribe to start again |
Echo features are unlocked on Trialing and Active only. On any other status, users drop back to the one-open-view free experience.
The page shows a Welcome to Echo! panel while you have licenses but have not assigned any of them yet. Choose Add Echo accounts and list the people who should get them — Echo Accounts. Nobody's Echo changes until you do.
Adding licenses, removing them, updating your card, and cancelling are all covered in Billing.
