Rooms

Read a room card, handle vacant rooms, and choose which rooms this iPad watches.

Rooms are the heart of Lumirai Viewer. Each card is an exam room your clinic tracks in Lumirai Link. You choose which rooms this iPad watches in Settings → Rooms.

What a room card shows

  • Location and room name (for example Carmel 4)
  • VACANT when no one is assigned, or the patient name when someone is
  • Age, sex, and appointment details when a patient is assigned
  • Study count — how many studies are selected to display, out of how many are available (for example 2 / 8)
  • A lock icon if this room has a Lightbox (locked or unlocked)
  • A yellow two-person badge when other PACS records match this patient, or when another patient’s studies are already included

A calendar badge means there is a study from today. Laterality (left or right) and body part appear when Link has them.

Tap a card to open that room in the viewer. If the room has a patient, the sidebar usually hides so the images have more space. Vacant rooms keep the sidebar open.

Vacant rooms

A vacant room has no assigned patient. The viewer shows Vacant Room — assign a patient to display their images.

You can assign someone from Patient search: find the patient, then choose Assign to that room.

Choose which rooms to watch

  1. Open Settings (the gear).
  2. Choose Rooms.
  3. Turn on the rooms this iPad should show.

If none are selected, the sidebar says No Rooms Selected. Choose Open Settings to pick some.

Clinic leads can also change the selection automatically with Room Scheduling, under Settings → Rooms → Room Scheduling. See Settings.

Swipe actions

  • Refresh (swipe right) — update this room’s study list (needs an assigned patient)
  • New Viewer (swipe left) — open this patient in Open Studies

Multi-patient badge

The yellow two-person icon means Link found other PACS records for a similar name and date of birth, or this room already includes another patient’s studies.

Open Studies to review Multiple Matches or Include Patient. Green marks the roomed patient; yellow marks included studies. See Study list.
