Choose which studies appear in the viewer, and include another patient’s records when you need to.
Use Studies to choose which imaging studies appear in the viewer. This is Viewer’s own study list, not the Joints worklist you may know from a desktop.
The list is a table with:
| Column | What it shows |
|---|---|
| Checkbox | Whether this study is displayed |
| Name | Patient name on the study |
| DOB | Date of birth |
| PID | Patient ID |
| Studied | Study date (teal dot if studied today) |
| MX | Modality |
| Description | Study description |
Tap a row or the checkbox to include or exclude that study. The viewer updates after the selection is saved.
The band above the table shows MRN, date of birth, and how many studies are selected.
Choose Refresh Study List if the table looks out of date. Choose Done (X) when you finish.
Sometimes the same person has more than one PACS record, or you need a related patient’s studies on screen with the person in the room.
On a room (not Open Studies):
Green is the patient assigned to the room. Yellow is an included patient. Selected studies use the same colors so you can see whose images are on screen. The study count turns yellow when an included patient’s study is displayed.
You can remove an included patient from the yellow chip (X) or by turning Include off. These controls do not appear on Open Studies tabs.
If the record you include has a different date of birth than the person in the room, Viewer asks Are you sure?
The warning says it is unlikely these are related records, and compares PID, Name, DOB, and Sex. Choose Cancel unless you are certain you want those studies in this room. Choose Include only when you mean it.
