Rooms list
The working list of rooms you watch, with shortcuts to room, clear, refresh, and lock.
Rooms is the working list of rooms you watch — occupied or vacant — with shortcuts to room, clear, refresh, and lock.
Open Rooms
Choose Rooms in the header, or Rooms from Home.
Each card shows:
- Location and room name
- The assigned patient, or a Vacant badge
- Age, sex, and reason when available
- How long the patient has been in the room
- Displaying N / M studies, plus laterality, body part, and a Today badge when there is a study from today
- When studies were last updated
- Lightbox Locked, Unlocked, or a pending Lock or Unlock when the room has a Lightbox
Occupied vs vacant
- Occupied — a patient is assigned. The card shows their name.
- Vacant — no one is assigned. Room the next patient when you are ready.
A yellow people icon next to the name means Multiple Matches — another patient ID may have studies, or someone is already included.
Open a room
Click the arrow on a card to open room detail. You can also click the room row on Home.
Room actions
Open the actions menu on a card:

| Refresh | Pulls the latest studies from PACS for this patient |
| Assign | Opens Room Patient for this room |
| Clear | Removes the patient and included patients |
| Lock Screen | Asks the Lightbox to lock — Lightbox rooms only |
| Unlock Screen | Asks the Lightbox to unlock — Lightbox rooms only |
Room Patient at the top of the page opens the same assign form without picking a room first — then choose the room in the form.
Select Rooms opens the drawer to change which rooms you watch. See Selecting rooms.
Tips
- Refresh if a new study just arrived and the card still says an old count.
- Clear the room when the visit is over so Viewer and Lightbox do not keep showing that patient.
- Lock status is explained in Locking Lightbox.
