Selecting rooms

Choose which clinic rooms you watch, and let Room Scheduling change that set for you.

Link only shows the rooms you choose to watch. That set is saved on your account, so the same rooms appear on Home, the Rooms list, and Viewer after you sign in.

Open Select Rooms

  • On Home, choose Select Rooms
  • On Rooms, choose Select Rooms

A drawer lists every room at the clinic.

Choose rooms

  1. Optionally filter by Location.
  2. Turn on each room you want to watch.
  3. Close the drawer. Your list updates right away.

Turn a room off to stop watching it. That does not clear the patient or change what anyone else sees.

Room Scheduling

If your rooms change by day — for example Monday clinic versus Friday clinic — use Room Scheduling instead of flipping switches each morning.

  1. In Select Rooms, choose Room Scheduling. You can also open this from User settings by choosing Edit Rules.
  2. Choose Add Rule.
  3. Name the rule — for example “Monday morning rooms”.
  4. Set Frequency to Daily, Weekly, or Monthly, and pick a time.
  5. For weekly rules, choose the days. For monthly rules, pick a day of the month or an occurrence such as the 2nd Friday.
  6. Turn on the rooms this rule should select.
  7. Leave Enabled on, then create the rule.

Rules run on the schedule you set. To apply them immediately:

  • Apply Rules — runs the matching rule now
  • A rule’s menu, then Run Now — runs that one rule

Use the Enabled switch to pause a rule without deleting it. This is the same idea as Room Scheduling in Viewer.

Tips

  • Start with the rooms you actually walk. You can add more later.
  • Scheduling replaces your watched rooms when a rule runs. If a room is missing after morning setup, check which rule ran.
  • Viewer on iPad and desktop watches rooms from the same Link account.
