Room detail
The full view of one room: who is assigned, which studies are on the display, and the room actions.
Room detail is the full view of one room: who is assigned, which studies are on the display, and actions for assign, include, clear, refresh, and lock.
Patient bar
The bar at the top shows:
- Location and room name
- Patient name, or Vacant
- Date of birth and Patient ID
- Age, sex, and reason
- How long they have been in the room
- A yellow people icon when there are Multiple Matches
The back arrow returns to the rooms list. If Auto-return to rooms list is on in User settings, Link goes back to Rooms after a few minutes of inactivity on this page.
Studies table
The table lists studies for the assigned patient and anyone you included. Columns:

Displaying N / M at the top is how many studies are currently shown on Viewer and Lightbox.
Turn studies on or off
- Click the display icon on a row to show or hide that study.
- A filled icon means the study is on the display. An outline means it is off.
- Studies for an included patient use a yellow icon so you can tell them apart.
Display none
The header control above the display column turns every study off. Confirm Display none if that is what you want. Use it when you need a blank display without clearing the room.
Select all studies
The checkbox in the header selects or clears every row. Click a row, or its checkbox, to select one study.
Open in Joints
- Select one or more studies.
- Choose Open selected, or Open N selected.
Joints opens in a new browser tab with those studies. This is recorded in your History.
Room actions
The actions menu and refresh control:

Tips
- Today’s studies are marked so they are easy to find.
- Display changes apply to Viewer and Lightbox for this room — not only this browser.
- If the table looks empty after you assign, wait a moment, then choose Refresh.
