Logging in

Echo uses your Medstrat Joints account. When you sign in, Echo shows the familiar Joints login page inside a Login window — you are signing into Joints, not a separate Echo password.

Sign in

1. Open Echo.
2. On the welcome screen, choose Login.
3. In the Login window, enter your Joints credentials (or complete your clinic’s sign-in steps if you are redirected to your organization’s login page).
4. When Joints reaches your worklist (or a study), Echo closes the Login window and opens the main app.

You only need to do this when Echo does not already have a valid Joints session.

Returning later

When you quit and reopen Echo, it usually restores your session automatically. You may briefly see a launch checklist:

1. Verifying Medstrat Joints account
2. Verifying Lumirai Echo account
3. Restoring history

If everything checks out, you land back in the main window without signing in again.

If Joints can’t be reached

If the network or Joints is unavailable, Echo may show Can't reach Medstrat Joints with a Retry button. Your sign-in is kept when possible — try again when the connection returns.

Log out

1. Open Settings (gear icon, or ⌘ , on Mac / Ctrl , on Windows).
2. Under Account → Medstrat Joints, choose Log out.

Logging out of Echo ends the Joints session in the app. On a shared workstation, always log out when you finish — see Privacy and shared computers.

Signed out from inside Joints

If Joints itself ends your session (timeout or logout inside the Study List), Echo returns you to the logged-out screen. Sign in again when you are ready.

Tips

• Use the same Joints account you use in a web browser.
• If your clinic requires device approval or an extra auth step the first time, complete it in the Login window — Echo will remember the session afterward when possible.
• Echo account status (Free vs Pro) is checked after Joints sign-in. You can still use Joints and Search on Free; Pro unlocks more features. See Plans and accounts.
