History

Finding studies you opened earlier (Pro).

History remembers views you opened on this computer so you can return to them quickly. It is an Echo Pro feature (Staff or Provider).

Open History

  • Choose History in the toolbar, or
  • Press ⌘ 3 / Ctrl 3, or
  • Use the command bar and select History or a recent patient

Find a previous view

  1. Optionally filter by last name, first name, patient ID, or date of birth.
  2. Click a row to reopen that view.
  3. Choose Clear on the filter row to remove filters.

The From column shows whether the view originally came from Patient search or the Worklist.

What gets recorded

Echo records a History entry when you open and select a view on this computer and the patient has been identified. Views that only appear because a teammate synced them are not logged until you open them here.

History keeps up to 90 days of entries (with a maximum number of rows). Older items fall off automatically.

Free plan

On Free, History is not saved. You’ll see an explanation that History is a Pro feature.

Clear history

To forget every History entry for your Joints account on this computer:

  1. Open History.
  2. Choose Clear history.
  3. Confirm.

Other people who sign in on the same computer keep their own History. Logging out does not clear History by itself.

Tips

  • The command bar is often faster than browsing the full History table when you remember part of a name.
  • For a full wipe of local data on a shared workstation, see Erase local data in Settings.
