Signing in

Password, emailed login code, 2FA, and forgotten passwords.

Go to accounts.lumir.ai. There are two ways in, and you can switch between them with the link under the Log in button.

With a password

  1. Enter your Customer ID or Email. Either your Practice ID or the contact email works here.
  2. Enter your Password.
  3. Choose Log in.

This only works if a password has been set on the account. Accounts created through self-sign-up start without one — see Account settings to add it.

With an emailed code

Useful when nobody remembers a password, which is often the case for an account only visited once a month.

  1. Choose Log in without a password.
  2. Enter the email address on the account. A Practice ID will not work here, because the code is sent to an address.
  3. Choose Email me a login code.
  4. Enter the six-character code and choose Log in.

The code expires after 30 minutes. Send a new code issues a fresh one, and I already have a code goes straight to the code box if you have already been emailed one.

You will see "If that account exists, we sent it a login code" whether or not the address is recognised. That is deliberate — it stops the page confirming which addresses have accounts.

Two-factor authentication

If 2FA is turned on, either route leads to a Verify with 2FA screen after the first step. Enter the 6-digit code from your authenticator app and choose Verify and continue.

Turning 2FA on is strongly recommended for an account that controls billing. See Account settings.

Forgotten password

  1. On the login page, choose Forgot password?
  2. Enter your email address and choose Reset my password.
  3. Password Reset Link Sent confirms the email is on its way.
  4. Follow the link and set a new password.

The new password must be at least 12 characters and include a lowercase letter, an uppercase letter, a number, and a symbol. The form ticks each requirement off as you type.

If 2FA is on, resetting the password does not sign you in — you land back at the login page and sign in as normal.

Note that you can always sign in with an emailed code instead of resetting anything.

Staying signed in, and signing out

Sessions last about a day, so expect to sign in again if you come back tomorrow. To leave sooner, choose Logout at the bottom of the left-hand navigation. Do that every time on a shared or front-desk computer — this account can change billing.

Locked or disabled accounts

Too many failed sign-in or 2FA attempts locks the account, and you will see:

Your account has been locked due to too many failed login or two-factor attempts. Please contact support.

A separate message, "Your account has been disabled.", means Lumirai has disabled the account. Either way, email support@lumir.ai — the lock cannot be cleared from the login page.
